Synopsis
“WIlloway” follows the story of colorless protagonists Willow and Alex in their journey to forge equality. The world’s fantastical history is littered with war and discrimination, leading to the creation of the colorless (grayscale through genetic modification). This group is heavily oppressed, and there are few laws in place to stop the genocide of the colorless (Stonegate Laws.)
The story starts in Kohlstadt, an undocumented refuge Willow lives in. Due to unforeseen circumstances, The two have to leave the refuge’s border to ensure Stonegate is still intact. Willow sees, feels, and begins to truly understand the world around her and wants to preserve it by any means necessary.
Worldbuilding

Ecki system and its corresponding moons
The world Willoway takes place in is called Synopa, one of the few moons circling the planet Ecki (often referred to as Her) in an unidentified galaxy. The world is bountiful in magic and a generous amount of fantastical occurrences, the biggest point of interest being the massive tree that gave life to the sapient species’ in Willoway.
Synopa has a deeply rich history that spans several kiloannum, many of which have seen the shift between dominance, the creation of life, and the cultivation of continent-lapping civilizations and their collapses. It has seen war, loss, and mass catastrophic events, a lot lost by the time the baseline story takes place.
Wastan is a part of the central continent, the largest landmass on Synopa. It's a large human-dominated country whose land has had continuous historical relevance in the timeline of the world. A global powerhouse, the nation is leading in the manufacturing industry, military, and is accredited for Synopa’s greatest minds. Kohlstadt is an undocumented refuge located near the southwestern borders of Sumy county.
